Nickolay Kozyrev is studying in the 7th grade of the first music school in Russia, Krasnoyarsk – in the piano class in a professional group. His teacher is the Honored Teacher of the Russian Federation – Natalya Ivanovna Grigorieva. Nickolay is supervised by the professor of the Gnessin Academy, Honored Artist of Russia – Bogdanov Yurii Alexandrovich. Nickolay is an excellent student not only at the music school, but also at school (Gymnasium No. 2) in Krasnoyarsk.

He started playing the piano at the age of 6 and decided to connect his future with music.

In 2018, he won the 1st Prize and the CMF Prize at the international pianist competition sponsored by the French Ministry of Culture; The president of this competition was Ginette Gobert (Paris).

In 2019, he received a diploma at the Sviridov International Competition for Young Performing Arts in the Piano Duet nomination in St. Petersburg. In July 2019, Nickolay took 2nd place at the Maria Herrero International Piano Competition in Spain, Granada. Then in July-August 2019, he studied with professors at the Tadini Academy in Italy, Lovere. In September 2019, Nickolay took part in the Musical Krasnogorsk International Festival, where he became a laureate of the review competition. And then he took part in a gala concert on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. However, Nickolay also took part in the Music Day concert in Eygeo, Greece. He also performed on the best stages in Russia.

His favorite composers are Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninoff and Beethoven.

Nickolay loves reading books. He draws and sculpts beautifully. Also, he enjoys traveling.
